Can you fit a mono amp under the front seats without something in the rear kicking it?

What determines that is how small your friends feet are :P
Seriously just get dimensions and measure the seat.

There is a fair bit of space under there, i have seen both 2 & 4 channel amps fit under there and unless the seat is all the way forward, the amp should be safe. If the seat is all the way forward, there may be some risk depending on how big the amp is.

Cheers

Yep, you shouldn't have any problems in installing an amp under the front seats.
Make sure that the RCA's are facing away from rear passenger's feet.
