how we all goin before anzac day eh???

can any1 please tell me how you can take the radio surround out, i need to take out the whole front panel cause my aircon light will not work. i have a au s2 futura.

any help would be appriciated,

its really a game of hunt for the screws :? someone here will probably be able to tell you exactly which ones

Dont know about the AUs but I'll give it a go.

First take out the ashtray and check for screws there. Then take out the radio or radio surround border check for screws. Then I think its clips holding it in at the top.


Basically hunt for the screws. Sorry mate I'm an E series man.

remove the radio, you need to get some metal coat hangers and bend them into a U shape to get the radio out .

few screws behind that.

Next drop the glove box and remove the heater flap door metal wire .

should come out after that with a bit of prying .

dunno for sure, been 4 yrs since i had my AU2
