hey guys need a little hand with my c4 and the speed sensor that gose into the box. the ef one wont fit and i head that the c4 one are run by a cable. just seein what other people did to get the speed sensor to work?

other than that my car so far has gone to plan. pulled the old runnin gear out and resprayed the engine bay with 2 pac paint. then the 9 inch got fitted into the car with the after maket roll bars as the standards ones wouldnt fit. got slotted brakes all round now and the new engine just about ready to be fitted

a few of the guys on perth e series have fitted C4's. They could probably tell you exactly what you need to fix the problemo.

You'll have to use the C4 speedo gear ( finer teeth and opposite direction ).

late model xd's and xf's had electronic speedo drives should be simple to adapt as they also had the c4

where abouts would i be able to get the speedo gear for my box. i think i need a 21 tooth with 3:7 diff gears would that sound about right?

XD & XE are different to XF speedo transducers.....different part numbers. XF is the same for EA to EL..........Papa Smurf would know.
