Hi all, i am looking at buying a BA wagon that was an ex telstra car. Evry thing looks pretty good except that you cannot enable the sports shift with auto gearbox. It resists being pushed across and does not go up or down gear when finally across. The bloke selling seems to think telstra did that to their cars so they were not driven too hard.
Does anyone know if this is the case or if it would be easy to fix. Othere than that the gear box appears to function normally. Thanks Cail |

Sounds like bull s**t. I know Telstra cars have the headlights permanately turned on though.

if it physically wont slide across its most likely got some crap (spilt drink etc) jammed in the shift upper trim and will need a new one. not a huge job to do - maybe 1 hour plus parts

Either that or it has had the auto changed with an earlier one.
