Yeah i was thinking that too, but the way my mate works, the less time it takes, the less $$ it costs me. So i was planning on getting all the parts together (x-pipe,mufflers flanges etc) so all he has to do is bend and weld the pipes. I might ask a couple of people who sell the x-pipes on eBay if they can source 2.25 ones.

I have heard also that the H pipe doesn't mix the gasses as well as the X pipe due to the fact that the gasses just flow past the H rather than mingling in the middle then spewing out the end.

From what i have heard, resi's have an odd sound when used with other mufflers, and although people say they don't drone, they can do. At the moment i have a single pipe into a chamber muffler and then 3" pipe from muffler to rear, that drones due to the 3" pipe from the muffler, i reckon like you say, i won't need the resi's on the 2.25 twin pipes. I can always add them later too if it does drone.

From the diff get the 2 pipes and join them into a 2.5 inch and add a resi and ur done just like this car
