Hi everyone,
Almost finished replacing gearbox and motor on brothers EL Falcon. It is factory fitted with LPG and I don't remember which way the coolant lines to the converter run.. Does it matter which way around they go? Other than that, I'm done! Cheers.

i dont think it matters as long as water is going thorugh it i never worry about which one is which and just wack them on and always work, and if it doesent the convertor will freeze up and then just switch them around

We have a forum for LPG related questions. the 6cyl forum is NOT the place to ask LPG questions REGARDLESS of the engine the LPG system is fitted to.

Other thing is the converter coolant direction has come up in the past a few times - it'd be nice for someone who doesn't know to search the LPG forum for that answer. Bit hard to find it when it's buried in other forums.

Why would you waste your time picking on where someone put their thread after that ffs. Because when you post in the wrong section it makes it harder for people to find previously posted information. Next time some one searches for vialle coolant lines and they check the box that says only serch in the LPG section, This thread won't show in the results. The next time some searches the 6cyl section for coolant lines a useless thread about an LPG converter will be in the results. If it's no big deal why dont just have one section and we'll post everything in that. |
