iv got an EFII fairmont an the drivers side door power window wont go down at all. it was really slow at opperating for a few days then decided to not work atr all.
Any help would be great! |

Yeah mate i just had this problem bout a week ago but i was stupid and keeped useing it till the cable snaped.
any way take off the door trim and then you will see were the window slides on both sides of the door and the steel middle slider. just give them a greece up and it should be fine. But while your there cheack that the cable is in all the right place. and make sure the greece you use can wit stand high temp other wise it will melt let me know how you go

Mate
Remove the door trim disconnect the window motor loom it is the white connector at the middle of the door at the lower opening to remove the reg. Get two long wire connect to both then connect both to the connector on the door and check. Then connect the wire in the opposite way in the connector. If the glass does not move the reg has the gong, if it moves you need to clean the switch on the console it is common for the terminals vto get dirty. gassa

hi guys, found out that the overload in the motor was buggered. i think the auto elec fixed something thats really not ment to be fixed. the window works but its not the same. goes real slow sometimes
|
