if not , didnt you say u had a bottem half to ? and an xr top? get them to make u a mold , like give them the stuff and they give u a bar ? say u are one of andys mates andy from andys customs and u would have got a bar off him but hes moving atm (Y)


ok no worries i will give them a try then, getting them to make a mould sounds a bit expensive but ya never know. and who is this andy just so i know what im talking about haha

andy runs andys customs was in dandy now moving to mordialloc bigger shop, they do maccanics, spray cars, make custom bonnet baulge , wire up sound system ect ..do u want me to call tomorow cause were buyin our bar like next week we can get 2 itll b cheaper well try 2 5 500 ?

yeah bloody oath i would be keen for that for sure. had a look on there website just then but they didnt have any el stuff on there, but i would deffinatly keen for that

Putting the el top half on to a standard bar is pretty simple. All you need is a jigsaw and some sikaflex. After all the xr bar is just that top part stuck on a cut gli bar. I can post up photos if you want. It is really not hard at all you just need a steady hand to cut the gli/futura bar and not even that steady cos the part you cut is a covered by the new top xr section.

i have a el xr bar already that is in 2 peices but i couldnt be f**k gluing the two together as it never comes out looking the way it should and i dont have the time it takes to prep etc for paint. so at the moment it looks like a brand new one from ford for 700 is the cheapest option unfortunately
