SICK AND TIRED OF MY SH*THEAP lol.. too many headaches.. just doesnt stop.

SO.. im thinking about selling this one for parts or something.. and picking up something a bit nicer.. possibly a fairmont, fairmont ghia.. trying to keep the price range around $5000 or under.

anyone have any suggestions as to which model they would reccommend and why you chose that over other models?

Cheers guys

should be EASY to get an EF or EL XR6 for under $5000 these days. I sold mine last year for $5500 and it had a new every thing. including a rebuilt engine and 14.7 time slip

How many k's has your gli done? If you want a reliable car might need to spend more then 5k. My advice is to stay away from anything that has mods done, dont buy a car off a young guy or hoon. Look for something with low km's with a full service history. I bought an EL fairmont ghia for 9k 3years ago it had 90 000 on clock with full service history was like new inside and out, only problem iv had was a flat battery witch is not really a problem. If your patient and really look around should find a good car, get you are limited on mechanical knowledge get it cheeked out by a pro before you buy it take my word is well worth the money

the gli has done about 155,000k's, the engine i put in it had done 95,000k's apparantly, but u can never really be certain.

racv inspection will be a must on my next purchase, didnt do that with the gli and got stung really bad.. dodgy car dealers grrr
