Any contacts?
Who to go to preferably and who to steer clear of.

A mate of mine had some rims repaired years ago by a guy in a shed at the back of Cobitty I believe. He can't remember his name or number though.

as far as I am aware it is now illegal to repair alloy wheels that need welding, not sure about steels. But there is always the backyard. Someone please corect me if I'm wrong.

i don't think it is illegal unless tyrepower sent mine off to someone illegally, wouldn't reccomend it though as the crack re-appeared as stress marks only a week later

Widetread in Melbourne told me it was illegal, and they had nothing to gain by it.

This is just cosmetic damage, gutter rash. Surely that can't be illegal.

Cracked rims however, that's a different story.

had a small buisiness repair my gutter rash on one rim in chipping norton.. Godd job and good price.. cant remember the name though..

I to would like to know of someone. Got a little bit of gutter rash from this c*nt who cut me off as i was pulling out onto the street, had to cut corner or i would have lost my bonnet and consequently scrapped on the curb - not happy!!!
