Well today while i was replacing my reverse bulbs with super bright LEDS i touhgt i would take my garnish a part and paint it up and it snapped on me. WAAAAAAAAA :( :( :( .
Does any one no how 2 take it off the boot.

pull the trim of the inside of the bootlid, remove 8? x 10mm headed nuts, and i cant remember but i think theres a couple of screws under the number plate too

Yep they get pretty flimsy as the car ages, I have replace 2 of them in 6 years I have owned the EB.

Time to get a standard one & paint it the same colour as the car and don't forget to pull the FAIRMONT badge out & transfer it to the painted garnish as I have done it with the garnishes because you can't deprive a FAIRMONT GHIA with just a FAIRMONT badge, the last one I just bought was off the For sale forum

Hey Ben_Daui, thanks for that idea but i dont wanna make it look like a VN. and thanks jaysway 4 that offer but. i got no money as i got no job :(
And i pulled it apart no worries the other day and i taged it up like Troymans and it looks good (except 4 the crack) and thats wat inspired me to finaly do my lights(and break it. hahaha).

Man it looks nothing like the VN commodore boot, if I cannot ever replace the FAIRMONT ganish that wil be my next step
