I recently got a BA XR6 MKII and want to know if it has LSD. It feels like it does but i was told if you have the traction control switch (TCS) then you only have single spinner. Anyone one else know anything about this?

If it is an XR6, LSD was optional. XR6T standard

jack up the rear and look for a spec tag on the right side of the diff, looking from the rear of the car. it should answer you question.

On dirt its even easier to have a single diff twin than tarmac... will prove nothing.

i was wondering this on my BA 1. get your head under the drivers side of the car and theres a yellow tag on the diff. hard to spot, will say whether its LSD or not.

or jack it up at the back and spin 1 wheel and see if the other side spins

Why dont you just ring Ford. Give them the VIN number for the car and they will tell you exactly what the car has

even without LSD the other wheel will spin but it will spin in the opposite direction to the one you are turning
if its a LSD it will spin in the same direction as the one you are turning
