Hey there,
I removed the seatbelts from my NA and put them into my NC and now they don't work. They're not pulling out. Have I broken them by removing them?? I've tried swapping them etc left and right and still no joy! Please help! |

I doubt you broke them but anything is possible. This may sound silly but, which seat belts did you swap? Front or rear? If you try to fit front belts to the rear they won't work or, if you did vice versa?

hey there, it was the front seatbelts that have stopped working. I've swapped all the seatbelts over 1 for 1 and the back ones work fine. I might've pulled them out a bit, but they just retracted back to where they were.
The front ones are completely retracted (not pulled out) and won't pull out to wrap around the body and buckle up. |

Will they pull out at all? Take them out of the car and hold them firmly in an upright position and see if they will? Might also be worth CLEANING the material of the belt. If they pull out a little at a time, you should be able to clean them. Hot soapy water and a nail brush should be a good start.. |

Nah they won't pull out at all. Is it possible to accidently swap the front and back? I was just wondering if there's a special trick to them like putting a pin in here and bam it works. I dunno.. It should've been a straight forward swap I thought. They're good seatbelts.

when you get angry with them and try rip them out they will just lock up. so the key must be patience and be gentle with them

had this happen with a seatbelt of mine, all I did was pop the clear cap off the side (if its the same as yours) and held the locking pin thing back as I pulled the belt out.
May or may not work for you, may be differnt.

Nope, no go... I've tried everything except finding the locking pin. I'll give that a go...

Pull one out keep tilting the reel until it releases, if they are not mounted EXACTLY as intended they wont release. If it wont release when out it must be f***ed.
