DON'T get a second hand harmonic balancer. New ones are around the $100 buck mark.

ok well turns out after jinxing you i jinxed myself. tonight i threw my power steering belt under hard driving..... it shattered my fan shroud, shattered my thermostat housing and almost busted a core on my radiator. only just put a new thermostat and housing on last weekend too hahaha. i believe my harmonic balancer is why it threw it after i had a look at it haha

ok so got the car back today.

he upgraded the top pulley on that idler to a bigger unit to put a bit of tension on that top section of belt aswell :) .

car feels good and solid now. and perhaps a incy bit slower? that may just be cause it hasnt had a good run in the past week though.

so now that the belt issue is ironed out. TOUCH WOOD.

i can move into intercooling. and a smaller pulley drive and better tune. which should take place over the next month.

man i love this thing when its clean :) if anyone else has the heritage green paint with the mettalic flake. it really grows on you after a while, especially when the sun is out.
