Ride: 1992 EB Falcon

Location: Hamilton
New Zealand
If i put a later model auto in my EB (maybe EL or AU) will i have issues with shifter placement in the consol, will i have to change to relevent gearnob and plastic surround? also will ecu be ok?

from 89 up until 2001 ea to au
all 4 speed autos are the same
