I need to change steering wheel on wife's NL fairlane - what do I need to do about airbag for disarming & reinstallation?

Richie

just disconnect battery for 10 mins.
undo the 2x 10mm headed bolts that hold the airbag to the wheel, access panels on steering wheel rear surround on sides.
lift the airbag off the wheel and disconnect the wiring plug
loosen the T50 torx head bolt a couple of full turns
wobble the steering wheel left/right up/down until the wheel comes loose from the shaft whilst pulling towards u
remove T50 bolt and remove wheel

ps dont take the bolt out before pulling on the wheel as when it comes loose it will get u in the face...
