On my EL, at full or near full throttle 2nd-3rd gear change, the trans feels like it slips, the thumps into 3rd gear.

I know the 1-2 and 3-4 harsh changes is the S5 solenoid, but which one is the 2-3rd?

Gear changes otherwise are fine, only a slight slip between 1-2 leaving the house when the car is dead cold.

If you take the pan & filter off, The function of each solenoid is stamped on the valvebody - eg BAR solenoid (Band Apply Regulator) S2 - 1-2 shift etc

Try replacing the front servo seals first to fix the slipping 1-2 shift..

How many KM's has it done?

RE 1-2 harsh shift
Before changing solenoids (as a part of preparation to replace them) better to drop valve body and see condition of front band- may be its just broken.
