Done about 10000km and my new champion CP100 PSPS has failed completely. The 1st one lasted 150000km genuine ford item.

Does Ford still sell these or did I get a switch made on friday arvo?????????

I just used the castrol power steering fluid that the Repco bloke said would work. Although I did add a bottle of wynns pwr str stop leak whick I think now was the cause of 2 high pressure.

It's all good though because I have a EF parts car in the backyard. Just swapped over the pump(old one had a leak from front seal) and new switch from that car. (It was my brother inlaws work car--so I know all the bits replaced etc--car cost me $250 and already paid for it self twice over). I Used castrol oil again to completely fill up and bleed system.

Next week I am taking out the front pedders sports ryder struts/springs and fitting them in the fairmont. They have only done about 30000km.

Cheers

I have the Pedders GSR shockies in my ED....very firm....with EL XR6 springs ( bought them new years ago ). I made heat sinks for the shockies.....coz of sh!t roads around here.....and I put boots on them, front and rear, to kept the grit off the shafts and seals.
