Hey guys quick question,
Just installed my new cam in last nite and and it was all swete until i noticed oil pissing out from the tensioner bolt. So i removed the pump and tightened it up and it stopped leaking now i think that the tension was too tight cause there is a low pitch whirring noise coming from the timing case. Im not sure if i have set too much tension if that is possible? i have a downloaded manual which doesnt tell me what amount of tension is needed. Im goin to remove the rocker cover tomoz to respray it could any one tell me how to reset the tension properly and what tools might come in handy. Cheers

the tensioner needs to be re set, once the tensioner is locked in/ tension released off the chain, you just relase the tensioner again, it will automatically take up the slack..
the tensioner is self adjusting.. dont drive it with 2 much tension on the chain as it will either brake the chain guides or chew out the aux shaft.. just do as the manual states and you should be ok... |

Cheers lock the tensioner again and then release it again. when you put the small bolt back on, put some gasket maker on the thread before you tighten it, this will stop leakage.
