so for the sake of an example... you wouldnt be able to have serpentine setup and thermos on a car running a log manifiold, without a chip?

yes you can..

Is it only the XH ECU that will run log manifold and thermos?

yep, unless you either go with the el ecu or use a aftermarket thermal switch to trigger the fan relays..

is it possible to wire up a relay so the power economy switch in the el ecu works the way it did in the ed ecu

Id grab a set of sidecutters and a multimeter and work out what wire does what on the underside of the power/econ switch then cut and swap the wires so the switch works the right way.. Saves pulling the cluster out(unless your taking it out anyway)

that wont do anything.. as its just an on/off switch the difference is how the ecu responds to the curcuit.

Ahh, okay, was under the impression it was an on/on switch

hi

with the ed model if someone puts in a el tickford ecu in with log manifold whats the ed model like on fuel and how much power does it have with a el tickford ecu and log manifold.

is there a way to put resistors in the bbm circuit to trick the el xr6 ecu into thinking it had the bbm
