Hey Guys,
I have been painting my car for the past few months and have been very happy with the results. I have colour sanded the panels and have removed all orange peel. But i have an issue with the roof. As i dont have access that allows me to paint the roof as one panel i have to spray half then run to the other side and then spray that half. This at first looked fine....but... i have now noticed that there is a dark "wavey" line down the centre of the roof. When this is colour sanded it sticks out like.....well yeah very noticable. What im after is some help. Does anyone know a better way of spraying the roof? should i spray a few thinned down coats to allow more time for me to run to the otherside or even use a retarder to slow thinner? Any help would be much appreciated. Nath
