Hi guys I just bought an AU S1 and would like to know if the BF 6speed auto will fit??? and if the AU ECU will work with it or will i have to get it flashed????

simple answer no. Not enough tables exist in the AU EEC to allow for control of a ZF box. I spose like anything though enough money and its doable, but it will not be an easy mod by any stretch. Certainly not a bolt in and retune at least.

why bother going to all that trouble just for a 6spd auto with the SOHC. would probably be easier to put a barra in with a ZF auto and itll be the same amount of stuffing around anyway

AU's personally don't do anything for me anyway... Sell it and buy a BF with the ZF 6 speed trans in it...
The trans alone would be like 5 or more grand wouldn't it? The custom computer and loom work will cost you way more than buying the BF complete... Each to their own though if your good with computer setting up and programming and re-looming the engine and the transmission to mate... Then go for it, would be interested to see the results... You'd have more luck with the 6 speed manual though...
