I currently have a 3.27:1 LSD and it is extremely noisy so in the not so distant future Im going to have to pull the diff down for a rebuild. Im going to do the clutch packs in the centre while I have it pulled apart but is there any way that I can make a set of 3.45:1 gears work with my LSD centre.

Any help will be appreciated and any LSD centre rebuild tips also helpful

Cheers, Justin

As far as i no if its a "Borg Warner" you can change the crown and pinion with other Borg Warners....like vallient, holden and fords up till either AUII or BA not sure, and even skylines, so your choices are from 3.08, 3.27, 3.45, 3.7, 3.9, and 4.11's maybe even more?? but ya need to no the spline and that.
There a few good threads on here about em, try the driveline section.

yes, 3.45 gears will bolt up to the LSD from the 3.27's. Have you got the 3.45's yet? If not, fling me a PM, I've got a set here.

Yeah had the noisy 3:27 but funny enough I ended up picking up a complete 3:45 LSD from a EF XR6 for $150! Saved me alot of trouble.
