I have a El xr6 and it has the Manuel climate control, i just want to know if it is possible to change to the auto one from a fairmont

Well, that doco makes it look like very hard.

every conversion I've done has been straight forward.
the hardest part is finding a donor car to get the parts from.

Its much easier to remove the dashboard and install the Fairmont loom.
There is NO need to remove the heaterbox or discharge the AC.

if you acquire all parts, the changeover can be done in around 5hours.
