the other day i went to start my car and it was flat, so i jumped it and it has started since, but i have been noticeing the voltage drop slightly over the last month and when i put the lights on it flicks down voltage then comes back up, the battery is still giving good volts so im thinking it is the alternator, when i beep the horn voltage dips down also.
any ideas? thanks guys the battery is only 6 months old |

Check your earths before you blame the alternator. These car's are getting old enough the earth points are rusting up causing bad earths.

There will be one from the battery to the engine, with a point under the battery earthing it to the body. Then inside the car there is one above the dash, in the center of the car. There is also one down near your tail lights as well. Cheers ToranaGuy
