28 spline, although I'm not separating the diff centre.

I'm confident the whole diff + tailshaft would mate up to an XE.

im not sure if an EB tailshaft would suit an XE. different box altogether

Well the diff will fit fine, but won't go with a std XE tailshaft. Are there XE tailshafts (like off the V8s?) with 4 bolts rather than 2? If so then there's a solution.

is it a EB 1 or 2 diff. a EB2 diff wouldn't bolt up to my EB1 lower arms
