Hey Guys, I've ran a search and can't find anythig on this. Is there some way besides HID to improve the light output on an EF/EL? I have Fairmont cornering lights wired in to be on whenever the lights are on, but obviously they doesn't do alot out front, and I'd hate to fit some driving lights somewhere stupid and feel like I should be driving a multi-coloured VK. Any ideas???

Hey mate, I don't think much can be done via light output other than going the HID route (which may even be illegal??).

I'm looking into this for my EF too, are you headlights yellowing? If so, rub some nail polish remover over them.

Possibly the light is coming out crosseyed and needs adjustment, pretty sure mine needs adjusting.

Let us know how you go.

Cheers.

Thanks Mate, got no yellowing at all on mine. Best globes I've ran are narva plus50 but still pretty poor. Just the price to pay for having a decent car a suppose.

Also, it may be the reflectors have lost effectiveness over time, not sure if much can be done about it other than getting new headlights.

Set of new genuine headlights.

You'd be surprised how good the lights are when they are new and aimed correctly.
