i just got my car back from a service(ba xr6turbo) and when it went in as i went over 3grand rpm it would just start to shudder and lose heaps of power, but only if i gave it full acelleration. now its back out of the service and they told me its the ignition coils since they go after 100.000kms?

and mines just got that many k's on it, they havent done the ignition coils on it yet, but it isnt shuddering anymore all it does is go a lot slower then usual, and has a fair loss in power compared to when it had full power...

could they have put it limp mode? and hoping when i get the ignition coils put in its back to its normal self :) any help or info would be greatly appreciated cheers

it sounds about right what they are saying about the coils, and i reckon they would have put it on some sort of safe mode so its more drivable before it gets fixed

u will probs need a tune to get the car off of safe mode also

yer i might get a tuner to do that, on the dyno n s**t, hoping it wont cost too much money for a flash tune, but to make up to 270rwkw u need a intercooler kit, valve springs are good to have, fuel pump, injectors.... but i hope its just back to how it was after the ignition coils get installed :)

nah its just standard as, would be good to know how to put a signature on my account so people can know what im running... exhaust and 20's lowered... and a way to put a pic up?

u can run 250rwkw with out anything but a chip and tune, mabye a tad over a grand

altho u have to wait for the turbo to cool down before u turn your car off so yer intercooler kit or turbo timer would help

cheers mate, all good now, only problem is finding a pic that is small enough, or wondering what format to convert it to or something, the falcon pics are too big
