What would happen if you removed an xr6 turbo intercooler on a ba or bf and used the car for a while? Would it be bad? Cheers

if you bypassed the cooler aka from the turbo straight to the throttle body should work in theoy.

if you remove the intercooler it will run but one question needs to be asked what amount of boost are you running and remember charge air is hot so you car will loose some power and can create problems as your intake temps will be hotter if your car has a boost controller turn the boost down

cheers bear

"LOL"

If you just removed the cooler and left it at that you'd f**k your engine by sucking in unfiltered air, and blow your turbo as it would have no air resistance and make the turbo overspeed.....

and if you go directly from your turbo to your throttle body your boost control solanoid will more than likely question what is goin on and youll overboost

if your trying to go stealth, look at W2A coolers. No need for a big FMIC, Subaru Libery setups play well with falcon stuff.
