What would an ~80,000km EL XR6 engine be worth? |

All depends on what you wanna pay, probs around $700 -$800 someone will pick it up, but low kms dont always mean good engine. It may still have it troubles, things still perish over time etc, rubber seals gaskets and you can probs pick up one that has a few more kms but has had things replaced and is working great for around $400. I bought a car with 389 XXX im taking the head of it because its been rebuilt and was running perfect. Low kms isnt everything.

He's about right you may get a little higher if you find the right person but you can pick these up for under $800 its really only worth what people are willing to pay and thats not much for a dime a dozen car |

i know a bloke who paid $750 for a 75,000km EL Ghia motor which is the same deal basically
so what they're saying sounds about fair |

i would say between $300-$700..
as an example au xr6 engines here with low kms are going for $450, xr6vct engines $600, std au $350.. to make things even crazier ba engine are selling here for around $200 at the moment..
