tried the shift kit used here ford-4l-and-6-cylinder-f1/shift-kit-info-compiled-t84386.html

i have 154rwkw and the stock tyres, why can i not feel any diffrence from this shiftkit mod
is there a way to make it shift harder or has something gone wrong

no kidding, any way i can just make this shift hard the whole time ??

like just putting the resistor in or something?

If you don' tell or show us what you have done there is no way we can tell what you have done. There are some really smart people on here but none of them have crystal balls.
Check all connections and resistance with a metre, tell us what you connected to where and get back to us.
Did you count the pin numbers from the right direction?

il post some pics up tomro and go into more detail but for now

can i just put the 18ohm resistor between the two green wires i cut and notice a diffrence or is there no easy way?

of course there is away to make it shift hard, thats what the pots for.
tho i only had mine on over half way...a real neck snapper

Yeah you don't really want it on all the time. It can get quite annoying when your just trying to have a relaxing drive, or your in traffic... will probably end up with neck problems after a year of use :P

finally got it working s**t it changes hard best mod ever i reckon

i see what people mean when there speedo jumps up when it changes from 1st to second

they are lots of fun in the rain i recon, always leave mine on.
only turn it off when i feel like just cruising

ha i went for a 9hour cruze last night with the shift kit on the whole time and i reckon my diff needs replacing already

well il be looking for a new diff some time soon i reckon but yer il turn it to half what it is at the moment

its werid tho it seems asif this shift kit has improved my acceleration

yer its made my car run the best ever

kept up with a rx7 series 5 running 20psi

and my m8s ba xr6t beat him up to 60-70 then he hits full boost and off he goes but still

also my car pushes me back in my seat now
