Hi all, I have a mate who's just had his a/c regassed on his el falcon and i has been tested for leaks but still blows hot air :S I was thinking it may be a d**k controler on the dash thats not working or maybe the switch behind the dash on the very left hand side that controls the heat/ hot air, hard to explain big black box with a green switch or hindge I guess you could call it that may be broken?

Any ideas at all?

Cheers

If it had just been regassed they would have or should have checked it working otherwise how would they know it worked after regassing it? and if so take it back to who ever regassed it

He might be better off then just to take it back to his work and asking some one there to check it

i'd hate to say it, but if it's not the heater tap, or the aircon system... its the compressor.. and thats big $$. it might pay to chase your heating system and see if there is something that needs renewing, if not chances are its the compressor.... the guy that runs an aircon shop told me this..
no leaks, re gassed, new heater tap.. problem must be the compressor.. it would pay to get it checked
