I am at a bit of a crossroad as the direction I want to take my EL.
I am after opinions as to which way you would go if it was yours. There are two choices. 1) keep it all windsor and fit edelbrock xtreme heads. 2) CHI 2V alloy heads. With the CHI heads they are made in australia (important to me) and are a great head but the people who usually go for clevo heads normally wank on about how crap windsors are and I love my windsors. The xtremes are a good head also cheap and easy to fit. The motor is staying a 351. There is no right or wrong just opinions.

If it were me I wouldn't give a s**t about people who wank on about how crap windsors are because frankly they are dumb C*** and, as far as I'm concerned no engine is good enough in stock form!
I'm absolutely with you as far as buying Aussie designed and manufactured performance parts and it's made easier when they are as good as CHI heads are. I'd use the 3V heads with the windsor accessory pattern instead of the 2V's though....http://www.chiheads.com.au/3v_185cc.php. That way the stock 5.0 bracketry will bolt straight on. Do you want to use a windsor style EFI intake? |

That is the other thing that is making this decision difficult. I want to keep the EFI inlet manifold that I have as I have a kenne bell kit for it so I will be needing adapters for it.

The GT40 wont cut it anyway. |
