Ride: EA Falcon S pack now 4.0l

I have a question about conversions and switching ecu's plan is to drop el 4.0 i6 into my ea 3.9 mulit manual. and run all the el ecu etc. Wrecker told me that you can reset an auto ecu and tune it for manual. I don't really no to much on the ecu's so I dunno if they are talking bullcrap to make me buy all the ecu and everything or what. can any one help me? Would be great.

A J3 chip can be used to convert the ECU to Manual & to bypass Smartlock.
