Get a 3inch and a twin dump tip should do it.
If you mean that drone with the sounds like the cars missing on decel.
f**k I hate that.

Having a car that crackels on decel does not make it "unhealthy" or "broken"

It does not cause any damage, and despite what some of you may think some people do like the sound. its not a "V8" sound either. My patrol does it, and My old EB did it.

The reason Johnny C's old XR8 did in in closed loop is because it ran rich in the mornings like its supposed too.

Its got nothing to do with your exhaust, fitting a sports exhaust just makes the noise more apparent.

i know exactly the sound your thinking of, my ford fairmont does it and it only has a 2 nd half inch sports exhaust on it. and i doubt its unhealthy for the car.

My N13 pulsar used to do it on decel if I left the throttle cracked open ever so slightly. Its just a fuelling thing.

:o get any car - 4/6/8--standard/sports exh--it dont matter--advance timing a bit-not to pre-ignition but just below--lean of idle fuel mix===crackle/pop on deceleration--power gain on pick/up

heres a thread with almost all negative reply's saying it can't happen, but i asked this about a year ago and there was many answers that could work (i never tried)

ford-4l-and-6-cylinder-f1/modding-an-exhaust-popping-and-gargle-t78119.html?hilit=popping

my car does it now, but only in first if i rev to about 4500 and then back off with no brakes..

oh and it does sound pretty tough hearing it from behind, especially with some high rpm down shifts coming to a set of lights..

btw, my car didn't do it with the auto ecu (converted to manual) and now does it slightly with the j3..

my EBll xr6 does it, manual, got a straight through 2.5'' with a high flow just before the diff.

i think it sounds awesome in 4th gear at about 4000 revs and letting off the accelerator, doesnt crackle just gurgles
