How would you recommend taking these out?

Dumbass panel beaters left them in while painting by the looks of it, and the paint is cracking!

But were they painted in?

I don't want half my front bar's paint to come in the process.

Get a razor blade and cut around the surround and then pop them out, also I will send you through a photo of how the lights mount into the bar.

i spoke to a panel beater mate about this and he said use a razor blade or scapel or stantley knife blade and score the paint around the covers then spray with a bit of wd40.... worth a try

cheers bear

Thanks Bear, interesting.

I guess the WD40 moistens the paint preventing it from cracking?

no problems

as for softening i know it softens the glue on stick on badges and I'm thinking it lubricates it so it should help it slide out

cheers bear

hey

if the wd40 doesnt help try warmer the area with a hair dryer or heat gun on a low setting just be careful as it will melt the paint if you hold it on the area too long

cheers bear
