Hey guys,
I installed a new TC (stock stall) earlier this week, and since the install, Fuel consunption has risen. before replacing the TC my ecconomy was around 16.2L/100km but is now sitting at 18.3L/100km the tc has improved the driveability of the car, but chewing that much fuel while driving conservatively worries me. would the PCM restet have done this, or am i looking at other problems here? Car is BA XL ute |

I was starting the troubleshooting due to the high fuel consumption at 16.2L/100 i thought the TC was at fault (it has improved performance alot) but it may well be the fresh oil flowing round the box thats keeping it together. |

Only way to pinpoint this is a more detail & recollection, like how did it drive before changing the Torque converter.

O2 sensor is in, and has decreased fuel consumption to 14.1L/100. i still dont know what it "should be achieving. the 14.1 was driving like a grampa aswell.

It'll take 100km for the trip metre to average out how much it uses. fill the ute up then drive for at least 50k's in the country, should read 10-10.9L/100km. plus you've reset the puter as well, basically it's relearning.
