should have a brand on them somewhere, if not post a pic on here or show us your pipes thread and see if someone reconises them.

Fairly certain those are "Coby" extractors. Do they bolt up straight to the exhaust just under where the drivers seat is? Coby extractors are made in NZ and are designed with long secondary pipes that eliminate the space of the cat converter completely.

From what I've read they are not too bad, if you have them already they are good enough that you wouldn't replace unless they were thin/old.

Personally, I think the Coby's are a good set of extractors. Reasonably priced, mandrel bent pipes, their design may not be perfect but it isn't too bad as they seem to work pretty well and give a decent gain. They really livened up the mid - top end torque in my EF and made the car sound so much better combined with a 2.5" exhaust, low end torque felt very much the same as stock to me though.

The Pacemaker 4499's looked okay when i went and had a look at a set. From memory they have the same 41mm primary pipe diameter and 6-2-1 design as the Coby's, but the Coby's have much longer secondary pipes which apparently gives better torque spread or something from what i have read. Pacemaker also have the 4480's which have tuned length pipes and are arguably one of the best sets of extractors available off the shelf for the i6 engine, i would much rather have them over the 4499's. But like Deff said, don't bother changing to a different set of extractors if you have Coby's already, difference between them in performance would be very minimal i would say.
