This link tells you all the pin outs.
documents.php?d=14 you 'should' be able to hold those 2 flying leads and figure it out. This link has a picture and shows you how to identify the pins. documents.php?d=32 That covered pcb connection is the programming connector. nothing covered on FordMods® about this I hope that helps

yeah already read the 1st link
with the 2nd link ..... does that mean the right side connector is only for the trip/clock? and last one ........ this comp has killed the color presentation so i only see in black/white & shades of grey so color pics are out |

This is the link from my Old EB Sedan thread where I first did this conversion.
{DESCRIPTION} Then I did it again in my EB1 Ghia wagon and the wiring loom was quite different. What model is your EA? GLi, S Pack, Fairmont, Fairmont Ghia? I have a pinout diagrams for the EB11 Fairmont loom and EB1 Fairmont Ghia loom to EF Fairmont and NF Fairmont. Just need to know what base you are starting from. Cheers BenJ

Cheers BenJ Thanks BenJ its a '89 's' [or it may go in the eb?? not sure what the eb is]. can you tell me where the number one pin is? & then does it reverse back with the numbers or does it start with highest underneath the 1st pin? 1-2-3 etc OR 1-2-3 etc etc 38-39-40 40-39 etc & which way do you look at it ???? as for the wiring pieces they were just 'hacked' out of some later model fords at the wreckers ... models unknown have rewired some cars previously so i have a rough idea what to do re 'wires' [fitted '69 wog mobiles with '76/'78 model front/rear looms, {including steering columns} central locking & alarm which is not hard .... more time consuming than anything] |

Hi.
Using the tech doco pinout diagram, I matched the colour wires to the wires on a plug. Looking at the plug from from behind (where the wires come out), I would say that pin one is the top left hand and it counts across the top to the right, goes down to the to the bottom right, and then the last pin is under pin one. Not hard to figure out. Cheers BenJ
