Probably been covered before but I cant seem to find a clear answer.
Do you have to take the airbox OUT? Because buggered if I can get to the top of the airbox to replace the motor. Everywhere I see, people say you dont need to, but Unlike them I don't have a sonic screwdriver... Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks muchly! |

When I get in that situation I use a 1/4" drive socket with the right size socket (5/16 i think) to take a ps2 cordless screwdriver bit. You can also buy right angle ratchet screwdrivers that get into even tighter spots. Have not done my blend door, I just keep ignoring the error code and hope it goes away.

Obviously easier if you take the box out.
But if you get into the engine bay and remove the 5 nuts holding the heater box in and pull it as far as possible into the cabin as you can get... Then cut the sound proofing mat on the firewall around the blend door motor, it will make it much easier. |
