take it out and replace with a bolt ,these pieces of s**t keep leaking and aere a pain to replace ,i ve done this and it makes no difference at all ,just unplug it at the top of the firewall and its all sweet, put some thread tape on the bolt to stop all leaks.

they are about $28 for aftermarket switch or $60 for genuine, both have a 12 month guarantee
the switch bumps the idle up when u are on full lock to stop it from stalling |

use bolt from own neck.. as already mentioned just replace with a new item, don't bother trying to source a used one, you will just have the same issue.

only my experience ,if you want to believe that ford knows best then go ahead ,makes f**k all difference and doesnt cost anything . try it first and if your not happy put the switch back in.its only there to raise the idle 200rpm while you turn the steering wheel at a standstill ,if your moving it doesn't do it. 2 years without it and it makes no difference at all . the bolts in my neck are to big to use for this they match the size of my nuts!!

i know a few people who have removed the sensor and noticed nothing changes.

i removed mine in my old ED and blocked it with a bolt, it also had a cam.
had it like that for a year, never stalled. The V8s don't have one.
