I've noticed while driving a few AU XR6's that the clutch seems to have a very definite over centre feel to it, and the clutch engages rather suddenly.

This is a major difference to the E-series (EB & ED) V8's I've driven that have a nice, smooth, progressive feel and engagement.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this? I've noticed that EB and ED V8's have a V8 specific clutch pedal, possibly something to do with a heavier clutch, is it the same story with the AU's? Would changing to a V8 spec clutch pedal alter the feel?
