well the aircon/heater is only coming out the windscreen vents.
I have searched and found that the most likely cause is vac hoses.
So i traced all the vac hoses near the washer bottle and all are
fine. I then remembered this one behind the front righthand side
wheel. i can not find its connecting hose under the wheel and i cant
trace it inside the cab as it goes up behind the steering column and disappears
behind the dash. Can anyone help with where its meant to connect?

i would also like to know what thats for

its a vacuum canister for the heater controls/ climate control.
