Just got these babies fitted. 20" VCT Santinos. Picked them up off a mate for 700 bucks
The car is still fairly high, what's the cost on getting an FG Ute lowered? Oh and I'm also selling the stock rims from it. $1500 ONO, 4 immaculate rims with 2 brand new tyres and 2 decent tread tyres. If you're in WA near Perth and interested, then give me a call on 0416149282 cheerz |

hi mate, nice ute. i just got my fg g6e lowered. best price i found was $450, and that was through tech9 tyres in hilton. dont know if its any different between a sedan and a ute for price though. come to think of it they did give me a voucher, ill have to dig it out now and look what exactly its for. i advise to phone around for prices, i rang ian diffens the tyre factory in 2 different locations and got a quote of $550 and $720. strange......

Thanx man. I asked Pedders here in Mandurah and they quoted me $1200-odd bux. They said I'd need a camber kit for the front.
But I also called West Coast Wheels here too and they quoted the 1200 price tag too, but they said there is a cheaper option for 700 bucks, where they send the rear leaf springs to perth to get them reset. Anyone here able to clarify the difference between 'reset' springs versus whatever they'd do for the other option? Also Phatba how much lower did you go? I'm thinking either 1 1/2" or 2". 2 would be nice, because the car isn't really very low stock, but then I used to have an AU XR8 showcar ute that was rediculously low, it looked killer but was a pain in the a** to drive around. |
