Hey guys,

Had this issue for a while now where the cooling system seems to over pressurize and blows a s**t load of coolant out of the overflow hose but only when i stop the car. Its not consistant tho like it might happen once a month, doesnt get hot, radiator cap looks good. Anyone had a similar issue?

have you overfilled the overflow bottle? there is actually a mark on the side of the header tank to fill to, if you have overfilled then yes it will release that fluid out. heat soak is what is doing it. if the cooling circuit is full during operation it may drop a bit of fluid, but once you shut it of the fluid in the system is nolonger moving and getting cooled via airflow in your radiator. so the pressure increases. and dumps the excess fluid out.

replace the radiator cap, cheapest to thing to try

you do have all the stone trays under the front of the car???
