hay there people i have a 2002 ba 3v v8 ghia and i ran it at colder park 17/4/2010.
it ran a 15.007@149km/h with just a cat back exhaust on it.
i want more power from it but i dont want to spend alot of money on it.
ive herd that if i do extractors/cats,intake and a good tune it would do a 13sec pass.
im from melbourne and if you know anyone from this end of town i can talk to or do something my self let me know guys
thanks munkky

Hey Dude,

Yeah i got a 3V too, i got a cold air intake and had no extractors (Cat Back) and run a 14.9. And that's with a 50ltr gas tank and a sub box in the boot. I also modded the intake, this is a good cheap mod. Check the link below.

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=81712

I have extractors now but im not sure what they have done as i havent been to the drags since getting the extractors done, but i can tell you they make a big difference. Ive heard that a Flash Tuner with a custom dyno tune gives alot of balls but do that last as the more mods the better the tune.

Yeah i wouldnt mind the diff gears, the thing almost does 90 in first gear. Do you know anywhere where i could get it done in Perth for a good price?

Ive at a 3v too, I ran a 14.96 at Heathcote, only mod was XR8 cat back. Making my own C.A.I, I've also got a 80mm SS throttle body to put on. Once Ive done that hoping to get low 14's. I will get some extractors when I can afford them, to put me in the 13's. Then I'll be happy.

Got mine for $300 off ebay, they normally go for $800+. Don't think there really worth it unless you've got some money to burn.

i ran my "stock" 3v BA-LTD at heathcote a couple of week's ago, 100% stock i got.. 15.29.
with the custom intake tube i put on after a couple of run's i got a best of .... 14.95 @97mph.
"MrCVE" has a ba-mont that ran 13.5's with... custom intake, full exhaust & tune.
so 13's should'nt be a prob for your car
