Just got myself an el xr6 :D Shes modded out and fangs i love her.
had her for nearly two weeks now with no problems i couldn't fix save one.
the range on the remote was bad from the start. but within about a week it had me standing at the door pressing 20+ times before it unlocked.
now its useless even after a battery change. red light comes on. neither the doors or boot buttons work. reprogram process failed, im guessing because the remote buttons aren't being received for whatever reason.
any ideas?
I dont want to violate my poor girl stickin keys in her doors!

Thanks will do.
Best source ebay you reckon?
I'll let you know how it goes when it arrives.

all you need to do is sand the 2 metal strips that make contact with the battery.
