A really quick comformation, is to look at the VIN plate, the Ford one, see if engine designation is "X"...if so, it's a Tickford....if a "H"...then stocko job.

I was trying so hard to remember that when I posted earlier.... just couldnt for the life of me remember it!

Getting old already krisisdog? :P

It was past midnight, my brain switches off at that time.

I was told on here that I was " p!ssing in the wind " with my home-done port & polish.....
I've been told that was a really good figure for stock cam & compression.
I'm waiting for the weather to cool off, take it for another dyno run, also to check how the AFR's are on a cool day ( 20*C or lower ). My run was done on a 32*C & 68% day, and the AFR's were a little rich then......may change with cooler air temps......would like to see over 200rwhp.

It is true...too bad I don't know how to port and polish myself :(...should give it a try on the spare head and see what I can get :D. I am still happy for the figures I got for a first attempt as a backyard job while doing it all in a hurry :P.

Thanks guys for the help. Am planning on boosting the car anyway, just a bit p****d that it isn't a authentic tickford, but by the time I'm finished it wouldn't be very original anyway. Gotta keep my head up.

By the way my uncle is having an open day coming up which involves a mobile dyno setup, bbq, and general Q&A stuff. His shop is in Sumner Park industrial estate Brisbane. It's called Proj-x, which is directed more at old school v8's and the like, including 6's, but not really any buzz boxes. If any one is interested the numbers will make the event more worth while. Trust me this man knows his cars. He spent 7 years in chicago building replica cobras and 'stangs and basically anything Henry has to offer. His shop is associated with Les Winters smash repairs, which I don't need to say more. He has many ford projects in progress including an xy ute complete resto, an xp build, plenty of 'stang builds and anything blue oval. His current build project is a '55 f100 with a blown hemi. Have some pics for the sceptics

Um well I F@#$ed that post up. I was trying to say my uncle who is a Henry fanatic is having an open day at his workshop which is in Sumner Park Brisbane. Will consist of a mobile dyno, bbq, general q&a stuff. His shop is directed more at old school v8's and the like. (no buzz boxes). If anyone is interested I can promise you this man knows his stuff and has many builds to prove his ability. His work is complemented by a Les Winters smash repairs paint job. Which if you don't know who he is well you don't know cars. Please pm me if anyone is intereted as I could go on forever about what he does. His business is called Proj-x which entails builds from start to finish. Also have to say he spent 7 years in Chicago building replica cobras and doing heaps of 'stangs. Oh yeah, has been involved with Cotton builds and is a Heidts parts distributor. Please let me know if anyone is interested.
