Fairlane springs are generally slightly higher rate for extra weight.

Thats what I thought - however the Fairlane ones (18) are also listed for XF.
Didnt think there was a lot of difference XF -> EB/D, and have just wrecked a Fairlane with the 27's so I was thinking of giving them a whirl in my XF.... Makes for a nice budget lowering job if thats the case. otherwise Im hoping the LTD has the right ones... |

I have Kings NL Fairlane rears in the EL, I will stick on the hoist this afternoon and see what ones they were.
As for E Series springs into XF, give it a go, pretty certain they will fit |

the xf rear lows are 1/2"-3/4" higher in ea-el rears than the ea-el lows, good for keeping the car level when gas is fitted.

Hmmm.. so in a fairlane they are closer to a super low then?????
That means my XF may end up a little too low... dammit Was the Fairlane Ghia low from the factory? |
