Hello again fordmodders, ive tried searching on here but came up with nothing, im changing diff gears so im looking at 4.1:1's
Ive read on here that EA - series 1 EB's have different casings, is that true and can it effect the crown and pinion clearance? will ANY borg warner crown and pinion fit? or do i need one that is diff spacific? I also am looking at an LSD conversion so ill do it at the same time, does the LSD carrier need to be spacific to EBII ABS, or can it come from earlier or later models? While im at it is there more i need to no be4 i buy the parts? Any help will be appreciated, thanks guys in advance....please no pelican

you are already a pelican for wanting 4.11s unless you own a servo or its going to and from and on the drag/burnout strip. lol

Not 100% sure, but i think the early e-series (EA-EB1) were 25 spline 75 series diffs. EB2 and later e-series are 28 spline, 78 series diffs.
Rather than a LSD centre, i would seriously consider a Lokka. You would get the 2 wheel action you're probably after, with the bonus of not flogging out like LSD's tend to do over time. There's a guy on Ebay who sells used diff gears for a fairly decent price, he should have 4.11's available i would think. I think a few guys on here have dealt with him before. LINK |

From what i found on here awhile back, when i was chasing 3.45s, the 3.08 housing is apparently smaller than the 3.23-3.45 and apparently does not fit. The centre also has to have the right splines for your axle type which Kwikxr has explained
